In September 2022, the Canadian and Federal Governments held a Public Forum in Niagara Falls, Ontario, to celebrate 50 years of the Great Lakes Water Quality Agreement. It was because of this that we formed the Great Lakes Ecoregion Network. We wanted to make sure that the views of the activists from all around the basin were present. We also wanted to set an agenda for the next fifty years.
